Design Your Color
Pick your town, set the background and the design color, and see the toile drawn in your colors before you order. There is no extra charge for a custom color — you pay the standard wallpaper price.
When you land on a color you like, the page gives you a match code. Put that code in the order notes when you order the wallpaper and we print it in your color. Keep the code and you can reorder the exact same color in five years and get the same print — here is how match codes work.
Would you rather we matched it for you?
Send us the paint brand and color number — Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams, Farrow & Ball, whatever you are using — or a photo of the fabric or tile. Order a $20 sample of your town, put your color in the order notes, and we will mix it and issue you the code. The $20 comes off your wallpaper order when you place it.
Before you commit to a whole room
- Screens lie. A color on your monitor is a starting point, not a match. Always judge the final color from a printed sample, in the room, in daylight and again at night.
- Material changes the look. Grasscloth, silk and prepasted all take ink differently, so the same color on a different material will not look identical.
- Matching your wall paint exactly is usually the wrong call. Paint and paper catch light differently, so a near-miss reads as a mistake. A background chosen to complement the wall almost always looks more deliberate. Ask us and we will suggest options.
